John J. Barry
Picture this – a smiling, fun filled natural born teacher, coach, partner and friend. That’s John Barry, to the thousands of people who have been his real estate clients, associates or students over more than 42 years. John has spent most of his life in Tucson. He calls himself a quasi native and he comes from real estate roots. He is an associate broker as well as a successful agent. He’s managed and trained in numerous offices over the years and also been a key instructor at one of Tucson’s top real estate schools.
His network of clients, vendors, professional associates and personal friends is legendary. Though John works hard at building his practice, his real estate sales business is largely by referral. That’s no surprise – he’s a true advocate for his clients, a tough but fair negotiator and a generous giver of sound advice. John’s “price right, stay firm’ philosophy has served his clients well, in all kind of market conditions.
John is a family oriented person. His son Michael is the light of his life. When its time for a ball game, a round of golf or just time to lay back with some video games – John’s focus goes there with gusto. He works very hard at being a good father. And has a wonderful relationship with Michael Who is in the golf industry Living in Colorado.
Putting It All Together
After years of selling, managing, teaching and mentoring in various combinations, John has “put it all together” at United Real Estate Southern Arizona. When he moved his practice there. John has been hired as Sales Manager. In addition he will be teaching and coaching United Real Estate Southern Arizona agents. The firm is one the fastest growing brokerage in the state of Arizona, so there’s plenty of work to do.
That’s called commitment; people who know John see and feel it from him every day. One minute he’s helping a new agent write their first contract. Next, he’s giving an experienced hand advice on a unique situation. Minutes later, a new recruit is getting an office tour from John – which ends just in time for a scheduled class, then a meeting with his sales team or a listing appointment. The beat goes on – John’s energy, enthusiasm and caring for his clients and his fellow professionals are, for many, a remarkable testament to leadership by example - combining dedication, hard work, and just plain fun.
